5、Research background：
CD28 is a disulfide-bonded glycoprotein of the immunoglobulin (Ig) superfamily, and its structure consists of a single Ig V-type extracellular domain, a transmembrane domain, and an intracellular domain. CD28 can bind to B7-1 and B7-2 ligands and play an important role in the T cell and B cell response pathways. As a member of the B7/CD28 family, it can enhance or antagonize T cell receptor signaling in regulating central and peripheral T cell tolerance. Therefore, CD28 is involved in T cell activation, induction of cell proliferation and cytokine production, and promotion of T cell survival. This monoclonal antibody is a humanized mouse antibody that can be used as an agonist of CD28 to activate T cells.
